RORY & GEMMA

Congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Ewart, married over the weekend at the lovely and oh so unique Kirklinton Hall & Gardens. Another venue that is brand new for me which is always exciting for Rory & Gemmas special day. I arrived super early to have a good look around and I was simply blown away, what a setting for a wedding. Even though at this point the rain was still trying its best to stick around, threatening the chance for Rory and Gemma to be married in the Hall Ruin, i was still exciting to start capturing this unbelievable venue.

This enchanting, historic, derelict estate offers the perfect backdrop for a wedding day. Surrounded by 14 acres of formal gardens, woodland and meadows there are endless opportunities for exploring, which makes my job as a photographer one exciting day to come.

Thankfully the rains stopped and the sun very much came out which gave the go ahead for the dream Hall Ruin ceremony Gemma had set her heart on, and I personally was massively thankful to get the chance to capture a wedding in such a unique setting. I hope you like the pictures as I sure had a wonderful time creating them with Rory, Gemma and their family and friends. I hope it isn’t too long before I am back at Kirklinton Hall & Gardens.

What a crazy May I have just had… 8 Weddings photographed, 4 weddings films, around 50,000 photos taken, nearly 1000 guests and now a huge pile of editing. I have had an absolute blast and want to say a huge thank you to Rory, Gemma and the rest of my May couples for all being such lovely people to work with.

everyone received their sneak peeks within 1-2 days from their wedding days and now to get on with their full galleries and wedding films. Thank you May, it’s been a blur but amazing!
